To accompany our learning in math, we would set out 1 or 2 activities every week for the students to engage with – always a free choice!

Making poppy shapes with playdough and popsicle sticks

How many different ways can you sort our materials?
Find the numbers around the room!
Pick a coin from the box and add that many to your pot

Making shape pizzas – how many of each shape did you use?
Roll a dice, stack that number of cubes
Can you put the same number of beads on each flower?

Add petals to the flowers in the matching shapes
How many blocks will your dump truck hold?

Roll a dice and make a flower arrangement!
