Class Inquiry

In the springtime, we thought it might be fun to do a class inquiry project – sprouting and planting bean seeds! We began by talking about plants and what they needed to survive. We asked what our students wondered about plants and posted them in our window alongside our bean seeds in plastic bags. We got to watch the process as they sprouted!

Once our seeds started to sprout, we kept track of who had a sprouted seed on the wall next to our windows

And then, we planted the sprouted seeds into little cups which we kept on our window sill. We would watch every day to see our seeds turn into full plants – which they got to take home after!
